About The Project
The Nishat Group Corporate Facility in Islamabad is a state-of-the-art development designed to house the massive operational demands of one of Pakistan’s largest business empires. This project was a high-stakes engineering mission, requiring an advanced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) framework that ensures 100% operational continuity.
Our scope included the end-to-end design, installation, and commissioning of integrated systems that power, cool, and protect this mega-facility, making it a benchmark for modern industrial-corporate hubs.
The Challenge
Working for a giant like Nishat Group comes with high expectations and technical complexities:
- High-Demand Power Needs: A facility of this scale cannot afford a single second of power failure. The challenge was to create a synchronized power backup system.
- Massive Cooling Loads: Given Islamabad’s climate, maintaining a consistent temperature across multiple floors and server rooms while keeping energy costs low was critical.
- Complex System Integration: Coordinating massive electrical grids with plumbing, solar energy, and fire safety systems in a restricted construction timeline.
- Future Scalability: Designing an MEP infrastructure that can grow as the Group’s operations expand over the next decade.
Our Approach & Solution
We adopted a “Zero-Error” engineering strategy to deliver a future-ready facility:
- Advanced HVAC (VRF & Chilled Water): Installed high-efficiency VRF systems and chilled water piping to provide zoned temperature control, reducing electricity consumption by nearly 25%.
- Electrical Load Management: Designed a smart electrical distribution network with high-voltage transformers and synchronized UPS/Generator backups for uninterrupted performance.
- Solar-Ready Infrastructure: To support Nishat Group’s sustainability goals, we integrated solar-ready electrical panels for future renewable energy transition.
- International Fire & Life Safety: Deployed an NFPA-compliant firefighting system, including smart smoke detectors and high-pressure sprinkler networks to protect the Group’s assets.
- BMS Integration: A centralized Building Management System (BMS) was implemented to monitor every pipe, wire, and AC unit from a single control room.
